๐ฎ๐ณ MP Woman Finds 8 Diamonds Worth Lakhs in Rs 200 Lease Mine
A heartwarming story has come from Panna district, Madhya Pradesh, where a woman labourer, Rachna Goldar, struck fortune in an unexpected way. She discovered eight diamonds from a small mine leased at just ₹200 per year in the Hazara Mudda area.
The stones weigh about 2.53 carats in total, with six of them classified as good quality. The biggest diamond weighs nearly 0.79 carat. According to the Panna diamond office, these diamonds will go through an official auction. Experts estimate they may fetch ₹3–4 lakh, though the final price could be higher depending on demand.
After the government deducts royalties and taxes, the remaining proceeds will go directly to Rachna, offering her much-needed financial stability and a chance at a better future. Stories like these highlight how Panna, often called the “Diamond City of India,” continues to surprise with hidden treasures beneath its soil.
